Resetting Your WordPress Password<\/h4>\n

  1. Log in to your cPanel.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the File Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    3. Open the wp-config.php file of your WordPress installation.<\/p>\n

    • Find the line that indicates the name of your database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Return to cPanel and open phpMyAdmin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \"\"<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Scroll through the tables by clicking on the “+” symbol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            \n
          • Open the table that ends with “users” by clicking on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              \n
            • Click on Edit to the left of the user with ID number 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • In the “Function” field of the “user_pass” column, choose MD5 and enter your new password in the “Value” field. You need to delete the characters that were already present. Then, click on Go.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
